What can cause a car to overheat?
There can be many reasons why a car could overheat. The most common causes can be a leaking radiator, faulty water pump, or a faulty thermostat. Either of these reasons can result in less than optimum coolant circulation through the engine which can cause the vehicle to overheat.
How to fix a car that is overheating?
After the car was inspected it was found that the vehicle had a coolant leak which required the radiator and the electric water pump to be replaced. As a precaution the oil filter was cut open to inspect for evidence of engine damage.
