• Assessing their vehicle’s hydraulic system which consisted of a clutch pedal, master cylinder, slave cylinder, and fluid and pressure lines.
• Replacing the clutch pedal / master cylinder as this is usually the most common part to fail.
• Bleeding the system to remove any air.
• Identifying that the slave cylinder was losing pressure.
• Determining that the slave cylinder needed to be replaced, which required taking out and replacing the gearbox.
