Oil Leaks

Oil leaks can be a common problem with all cars but is something to keep an eye on with older model AMG’s. This is usually caused by damaged and worn gasket seals and while this may not stop you from driving your car, it is best to get it checked as soon as possible as driving without enough oil can lead to major engine damage.

Head Bolt Failure

Damaged or broken Head Bolts can result in engine misfires or stalling, overheating, oil leaks or white smoke. If you have experienced any of these symptoms with your car, then there is a chance it could be that your Head Bolts need to be replaced. Camshaft & Lifters

A problem that can be more common with the M156 engine is that the camshaft and hydraulic lifters will need to be replaced.
